Recently, the 2021 Fujian Youth Rowing Championships and Kayak (Still Water) Championships were held at Xiamen Water Sports Center. More than 500 athletes from 9 cities including Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou, and Longyan participated in the competition. This event is hosted by the Fujian Provincial Sports Bureau and jointly hosted by the Fujian Provincial Rowing Management Center and Xiamen Sports Bureau.
According to reports, the rowing championship is divided into three groups: A, B, and C, and set up a single scull, a double scull, and a double single scull at a distance of 2000 meters and 4000 meters, respectively. The kayak (still water) championship is divided into three groups: A, B, and C. There are single kayaks, double kayaks, single kayaks, and double kayaks at 4000 meters, 1000 meters, 500 meters, and 200 meters respectively.
After fierce competition, the top three men's and women's teams in the rowing championship are from Longyan, Fuzhou, and Xiamen; the top three men's and women's teams in the kayaking (still water) championship are from Longyan, Xiamen, and Fuzhou.
